I recently went to Chutneys for dinner with a friend of mine and were super impressed with both the breadth of the menu, as well as, the quality of the food! For health reasons, my friend is following the Mediterranean Diet, having so many delicious menu options available to her was a welcome change. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared with just the right amount of spice to make it really flavourful. I have already recommended Chutneys to others!

I chose Chutneys for a treat on my husband's birthday. We both loved the food and the gentle attitude of the owner. We had vegetarian dishes at affordable prices. The stuffed naan is not to be missed. Highly recommended in the Kingsway.

The staff always makes me feel like a valued guest. The ambiance adds to the overall charm of the place, making it a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Indian delicacies.”

Went in here on a whim for lunch and I dont regret it one bit! I ordered a Mango Lassi, Mutter Paneer, and some plain naan. The Mutter Paneer was delicious, and the Lassi was one of the best ive had! Highly recommend this place for delicious indian food

Our favorite Indian restaurant in the city. The staff are always friendly and polite. Vegetarian dishes, extensive list of appetizers, and naan. Always the perfect amount of spice and don't be shy to ask for "spicy". Featured pics are butter chicken and beef vindaloo, with garlic naan, garlic rice, lacha paratha, and onion bhaji.

I Went to Chutnyes with a group of friends on Good Friday, and we were quite excited to try out their offerings. The first thing that caught our attention was the availability of Kingfisher beer—always a good start when you're in the mood for some Indian-inspired drinks! We ordered a couple of beers to kick things off. For starters, we went with the Chicken Chilli and an Assorted Non-Veg Platter, which included BBQ chicken, mutton, and prawns. While the flavors were decent, there was something about the platter that made us feel like it had been refrigerated and just reheated before serving—lacked that fresh, on-the-grill vibe. Still, it was tasty enough to get us in the mood for the next courses. The highlight of the evening was definitely the Chicken Vindaloo—it gave off this comforting, home-cooked vibe that really hit the spot. Paired with the garlic naan, which I can confidently say were the stars of the plate, the combination was just right. Soft, flavorful, and perfectly garlicky. For dessert, we had the Pista Kulfi—we ordered two, but to our pleasant surprise, they gave us an extra one as a complimentary treat! This was a nice touch, and the kulfi was creamy and delicious. We were also given some extra rice pudding to take home as a complimentary dessert when we were leaving, which was a sweet gesture from the chef. Speaking of the chef, they were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome. The service was warm, and the entire staff seemed genuinely attentive and kind. However, I did feel like the bill was a little on the higher side considering the quality. The food, while flavorful, could benefit from a bit more attention to detail—especially with the starters. But overall, the friendly service and thoughtful complimentary treats made up for it. Verdict: A solid place with great service, but a bit of room for improvement in terms of food quality. Would definitely return for the hospitality and the garlic naan!

Our new go-to restaurant for Indian Cuisine. I have tried food from Hyderabad, Kerala, and Mandurai but this one (New Delhi) is now my new favourite. Sesir is really friendly-even when he was the only one working today as a cook, server, and owner. Would definitely come back here. Humble place, close by and amazing food.

Excellent service with personal attention that made the dining experience feel truly special. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and every dish we tried was flavorful and freshly prepared. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine with a warm, welcoming touch.
